I met up with James Pepper in March this year to photograph his sleeper, a MK2 Ghia with a Cosworth Punch. We had an awesome location planned for the shoot on a derelict site but when we arrived a new massive padlock had appeared with new gates. After driving round for 45 mins to find a new location it became harder and harder to find somewhere to suit the cars character. Eventually we came across some massive container units which just happened to be the same colour as his car. It was a monster turn out this year at Kent’s All Ford Show held at The Friars, Aylesford Priory. We clocked in over 600 cars between 7.30am – 10.15am. There were plenty of trade stalls, some great old bands playing and no rain!
Below is a set of images taken which we sold prints of during the day, for those who purchased prints please feel free to use these images but leave the discrete watermark on as this helps keep us going 😉 If you attended but didn’t buy and would like a print and/or a mug email firstname.lastname@example.org with you car make, model, colour and entry time (this can be found on your card).
Today I visited Brands Hatch to practice shooting a few panning images, haven’t done this type of shot for about 6 years as I usually use a rig but have to say they aren’t too bad. On Wednesday I plan to return under a media pass so can get closer and lower, struggled a little bit today with the weather. It was a wet day and there was barely any sun, the part of the track I was able to shoot from meant that the cars were mainly backlit which wasn’t ideal. See below for a few of the images:
